Open Day 2021

We had a truly memoriable open day last Sunday Barnby Moor Memorial Park & Crematorium and we want to thank the amazing local community for their unstinting support that was so incredibly rewarding for our charities Bassetlaw Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

In glorius sunshine the members of 3Cs Networking were exceptional and it was so encouraging to be out in the safety of the fresh air again with local people enjoying being sociable in person again. Our sincere thanks to Jill Ashton for bringing the local networking people together and for being part of what was a very successful day.

Home Instead Retford and Gainsborough represented by Vicky had an amazing display, the sausage rolls from BaRnby’s were the best anyone had ever sampled. Our Memoria cheque for £190,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support was presented and their presentation was a wonderful addition to the day (in the cool of the air conditioning!).

FMN Furniture had a wonderful display and the pagoda installed by Niche Landscaping was extraordinary and adorned with dozens of yellow ribbons in memory of those we loved and lost. The day was captured superbly by Cherished Photography by Claudia and broadcast across the region by the amazing Crags Radio. John Pinder was an invaluable addition to our day and we thank W.E Pinder & Son Ltd so very much, as well as Co-operative Funerals.

All in all just a fabulous day and to everyone who attended and those who helped us at Memoria make this a very special occasion thank you so much!

Please pop the date of Wednesday 15th December into your diary, a very special service of remebrance, ‘Light a candle for a loved one’ with Memoria and Macmillan Cancer Support.
